01 Crown or veneer?
A veneer covers only the visible face and keeps more of the healthy tooth: it's the option when the problem is cosmetic and the tooth is healthy. A crown covers the whole tooth and is used when there is significant damage, a previous root canal or a fracture.
02 What are crowns made of?
We work metal-free: monolithic zirconia or porcelain, depending on the case. Both are biocompatible and natural-looking.
03 How long does a dental crown last?
With proper hygiene and periodic check-ups, many years. Wear from uncontrolled bruxism is the most common reason its lifespan shortens.
04 Does preparing the tooth hurt?
It's done under local anaesthetic. Recovery is usually mild, with some sensitivity in the first few days.
